If Led Zeppelin, the Black Keys and Fela Kuti had a threesome, and out of it came a bastard child, it would sound like this song. Capturing the friendship (or platonic love?) story between Charlemagne and his war elephant, the first half of "Abus Abhal" glides on a catchy fuzz riff and an infectious groove that will make you walk down the street like you own the place. "Abus" ends in a fit of rage with a fast-and-furious harmonica solo nostalgic of early King Gizzard records. Enjoy!
